Mahatma Otoo’s brace gives Hearts point

Accra Hearts of Oak have had a dismal run this term and a 2-2 draw at the Golden City Park with Berekum Arsenals still continues the trend.

In fact, Hearts were lucky to leave with a point because it was an injury time equaliser from Mahatma Otoo that ensured the point.

Berekum Arsenals opened the scoring through Isaac Ayisoni in the first half but Otoo drew Hearts level 20 minutes after the break.

James Boadu converted a penalty awarded Arsenals in the 76th minute to double their lead. But Otoo found the net again tying the game, two minutes into injury time.

The Phobians have failed to win in five games and are now one place above the relegation zone, with 14 points.
