Revealed: Ghana’s final 21-man squad for U-20 World Cup

Black Stars duo Richmond Boakye Yiadom and Baba Abdul Rahman have been included in Ghana’s final squad for the 2013 FIFA under 20 World Cup in Turkey.

According to FootyGhana, head coach Sellas Tetteh decided to include Sassuolo striker Boakye Yiadom and Greuther Furth full back Rahman to deepen what he considers to be a very good squad. Also included are Anderlecht playmaker Frank Acheampong, Inter Milan forward Alfred Duncan and Liberty Professionals’ goal scoring midfielder Kennedy Ashia.

Liberty Professionals striker Ebenezer Assifuah also makes the squad, as does Tema Youth forward Francis Narh. Defender Baba Mensah, wingers Emmanuel Gyamfi and Kwame Boahene, as well as Ashitey Ollennu and Michael Mensah were the players who failed to make the cut.
