Andy Murray overcomes Richard Gasquet in quarters, Alexandr Dolgopolov through

Andy Murray had to dig deep as he rallied to beat Richard Gasquet 4-6 6-1 6-4 at the Western and Southern Open on Friday.

Murray produced a gutsy display to outlast Grigor Dimitrov in the last 16 on Thursday, after saving a match point and overturning deficits in the second and third sets.

The world number two Murray appeared fatigued following his heroics the day prior, though he eventually found his rhythm as he came from a set down against Frenchman Gasquet to reach the semi-finals after two hours, six minutes in Cincinnati.
