Soulama accused of taking $3000 dollars from BYC

Asante Kotoko goalkepper Abdoulaye Soulama has been accused of taking bribe from BYC officials to aid the Liberian Champions to the next round at the expense of Kotoko.

BYC defeated Kotoko 1-0 on Sunday courtesy of a goalkeeping error by the Soulama that handed the Liberian Champions progression on the away goals rule after a 2-2 aggregate scoreline.

Reports from Monrovia claimed Soulama took a $3000 bribe from officials of BYC hours before the game played at the Antoinette Tumban Stadium.

It is claimed that Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani was informed about the keeper being spotted with BYC officials but the coach brushed the claims aside and featured the keeper in post.

Soulama watched on as a feeble and harmless ball row into his net in the 85th minute to stun Kotoko and kick them out of the CAF Champions League competition.
