Manny Pacquiao has been presented as the antithesis of his opponent, Floyd Mayweather Jnr, ahead of tonight's superfight in Las Vegas.
The Filipino star is modest, quiet and deeply religious - characteristics that are in stark contrast to Mayweather's brash demeanour.
The pair will meet in Las Vegas this weekend in the richest fight in boxing history. Coverage of the duo's training camps and lives has been extensive over the last six months.
Pacquiao's personality has led to the 36-year-old developing a huge following around the world and hundreds of people follow him on his morning runs.
But what don't we know about Pacquiao? Here are some lesser known facts about the WBO Welterweight champion.
1. Pacquiao ran away from home when he was 14 after falling out with his father in the Philippines. After selling doughnuts on the streets for a while, he stowed away on a boat to Manila (which was 500 miles away) to start his new life as a boxer. He turned professional two years later.
2. The Filipino star has a Jack Russell Terrier, called 'PacMan'. The dog accompanies Pacquiao on every morning run and every trip to the gym for his daily workout. The dog has done so much travelling around the world that he even has his own 'frequent flier' account.
3. Pacquiao needs to consume 8,000 calories a day to maintain his weight and energy levels. To do this he eats five meals a day. For almost every single meal he eats steamed white rice with either chicken or beef broth.
4. It's not just Pacquiao's eating habits that are slightly strange, he's got some interesting theories on liquids too. The welterweight champion only drinks water that's hot or at room temperature because he thinks cold water is bad for the body.
5. Pacquiao's got plenty of hobbies outside of sport. He's a decent chess player and taught himself to play the piano. But what he really loves is photography. He recently invested in two Cannon 1DX cameras, which cost around £6,000 each.
