Bounced: Baba Rahman, 3 other Black Stars players did not get US visa

Baba Abdul Rahman's unhappy season has now extended to the national team after the Chelsea new boy failed to make the trip to Washington for Ghana's friendly international against Canada due to his inability to get a US visa, compounding Coach Avram Grant's selection options.

The highly rated left back has struggled to gain play time since switching the German Bundesliga for the English Premier League this term, amid debates about his national team place. Well that's not up for argument now following failure to get visa clearance on time to make the Black Stars game on Tuesday.

Switzerland based Ebenezer Assifuah, Richmond Boakye Yiadom (on loan at Dutch side, Roda JC) and Denmark based Daniel Amartey also suffered similar fates, a situation which has resulted in a complete overhaul of the team due to the unavailability of other key players too due to injury.
