Types of Tote Bets Online
Although it may seem like an advantageous decision, the percentage return on this type of bet makes it an unfavorable one. The following are some forms of tote bets that can pay a higher percentage of your winnings:
- Tote Exacta - bettors must predict the order in which horses will cross the finish line to place first and second.
- Tote Trifecta - bettors must predict the first three horses to finish in the correct order.
- Each-Way - a combination of a Tote Win bet and a Tote Place bet.
- Placepot - the bettor must select a winner in each of the first six horse races on the racing card.
